1
Make a Commitment
The first step is to make a commitment that you have to be fit and have to look after your health. As they say, if there is a will, there is a way. Unless you do not take this step, you will never get time out of your busy routine and you will never be able to get fit.

Take Small Steps
Taking small steps is important. Fitness cannot be achieved overnight and one has to persevere with good habits. Developing small habits that help your fitness are important. Small things like standing up and getting a glass of water every hour is one step that you can take. This will allow you some movement and also get a glass of water which is not bad either. It will also allow you to have a lesser chance of developing heart problems. You can also do some light exercises at the office gym to keep yourself going.

Walk
This may not be very easy with a busy schedule but it can be managed. A quick run on the treadmill can be a start. You should also park your ride away from the office, preferably at the farthest parking spot available as it allows you to take a walk every time you come to the office and leave it.

Eat Carefully
Eating with caution is another way of staying fit. It can be very attractive to eat all those burgers and pizzas that are dripping with cheese but they do not do your health any good. Eat healthy food as well as eat in a healthy manner. Take your time at lunch and chew every little bit of that salad or bowl of rice that you have. This allows better digestion as well as you are able to know when you stomach has had enough. If you eat too quickly, your brain receives the signal a few minutes too late and you have an overly full tummy.
