History:
Foodies Festival is not a new thing for Londoners as it has now entered in its fifth year, as the first Foodies Festival was organized back in 2008. During these years Foodies Festival has been able to drag lot of audience during its three days showcasing. This festival has provided a new sort of entertainment to the inhabitants of British capital. These people now come here not only to enjoy food, but also to see some live cooking by famous chefs, tryout popular dishes and ingredients from all over the globe.

Activities:
During this festival visitors will get to see cooking demonstrations from some famous television chefs, for instance Cyrus Todiwala and Levi Roots. Plus there will taste sessions, master classes for young chefs and cooking for children. Visitors can check and purchase artisan food from more than 100 exhibitors at this festival. This year some new features have been added in this festival as well, which includes Street Food Avenue, live cooking and showcasing of dishes from different parts of the world. Additionally, visitors will also get to sip various summer cocktails made by experts. This festival is going to be a mix of food, music, entertainment and much more. -

How to get there:
By Tube
To get to Battersea Park the nearest tube station is the Calpham Junction. When you come out of the station head southeast on Prested Rd toward St John's Hill/A3036 and then turn left onto St John's Hill/A3036, after covering a little distance turn left onto Dorothy Rd and continue straight onto Amies Rd. After covering some distance turn left onto Latchmere Rd/A3220 and continue on the same road till there comes a slight turns towards Cambridge Rd turns left and your destination will be on right side. The distance from the tube station towards the destination is 1.5 miles and it takes almost half an hour to cover this distance by foot.View Map

Nine Elms, Chelsea Bridge (Stop CC) is the nearest of all bus stops from where Battersea Park is 0.6 miles away and roughly 11 minutes by walk. In order to get to this bus stop visitor should take one of the bus numbers 44, 137, 452, N44 and N137.
