Frieze Art Fair in London
Frieze Art Fair is an international art fair featuring contemporary art, and is held in October every year at Regent’s Park in London. The fair is held by Mr. Mathew Slotover and Ms. Amanda Sharp, the publishers of Frieze Magazine and it has more than 170 contemporary art galleries to participate in it. Talk programme, artist led education schedule, and specially commissioned artists projects are also featured in the art fair, giving the visitors another dimension to participate in the event. An award called Emdash Award is given to encourage the work of new artists from countries other than United Kingdom.

History
Started in 2003, for the sole purpose of selling art work, the event has also developed into a cultural entertainment event that majority of people only visit for window shopping. It is also significant to mention that the Art Fair has been a huge success in terms of revenue collection and visitor turn up. -
