Goodbye Letter to Government
Governments do hand over some projects to private companies in a bid to save time and money and getting the job done in a more efficient manner. Any company or an official who is working with the government on any project has to do a lot of written correspondence, just to make sure that the government is on the same page and is aware of the updates.
In the first paragraph, explain how the project was handed over to your firm and let the government know that it has been completed successfully.
You can mention in the body of the letter the details of the resources and budget that have been used in the project. In the concluding paragraph, thank the government for showing trust in your organization. Be pleasant in your communication and show your interest in securing future projects as well.

Federal Government,
Urban Development Department,
Pittsburg
Respected Sir/Madam,
My company was given the project of constructing an underpass in the city nine months ago. I want to inform you with immense satisfaction that we have completed the task within the timeframe. The underpass has been built in the minimum time without hampering the flow of traffic in the city.
Since the underpass is now complete and we have received our payment , we would like to bid our farewell to the government from this project. The project was handled in an extremely professional manner and it was a pleasure for Henry and Brothers to work with the government officials.
We look forward to work with the government in future projects and hope that you will continue to show faith in our skills.
Goodbye.
Sincerely,
Stephen Henry
