Lalibela Restaurant London Overview

The latest rage in London is exotic cuisine and the Lalibela Restaurant has benefited heavily from this as curious foodies and long time customers pack the venue. Lalibela first opened its doors in 1993 and since then has grown into a 2 floor eatery that specializes in Ethiopian cuisine. The owner states that the restaurant was initially opened to cater to the large Ethiopian community that lived in the area, but now attracts patrons from all backgrounds. Most people come for the unique food and many are impressed by the special interior design. The decor gives customers a feeling that they are not in London any more and the smells of spices help make the illusion complete. The menu has vegetarian, meat and fish dishes that are accompanied by lentils, beans and flat breads. There is also a bar area that is packed with people waiting for tables or enjoying the many drinks on offer.
