Stanmore Tube Station London
Stanmore tube station is located in Stanmore under the local authority of Harrow. This underground station is at the Northern end of Jubilee Line, which lies in travel zone 5 and its foregoing station is Cannon Park. The station was started in 1932 at the end of a self titled branch of Metropolitan Line, which was moved to Bakerloo Line in 1939 and then, it was again transferred to Jubilee Line in 1979. The station has 2 platforms, but in 2005 Transport of London started the construction of 1 more platform which was completed in 2009. However, it could not be inaugurated on time and the opening was delayed until July 2011. The station has various facilities for travelers like wheel chairs, pushchairs, induction loop, toilet facilities, assistant dogs and car parkings. Stanmore tube station has 3 entrances; one is from the car parking of the station to enter and exit from the ticket hall, and the other one is from London road to enter and exit and the third entrance is from London Road Bus stop; which is also used by travelers to enter and exit from the ticket hall of the station.
