Ingredients
  • Pretzel sticks – 10 ounces
  • Milk chocolate chips – 12 ounces
  • White chocolate chips – ½ cup
  • Candy sprinkles
  • Chocolate candies
  • Mini Reese’s pieces
  • Chopped peanuts
Instructions
  1. Line a large baking sheet with wax paper and set aside.
  2. Place the milk chocolate chips in a double boiler, seal it and turn on the burner.
  3. You can replace double boiler with microwave oven.
  4. Wait for few minutes until milk chocolate chips start melting.
  5. Let the chocolate chips melt completely and form a smooth mixture.
  6. Do not forget to stir the melting chocolate constantly during the melting process in order to avoid burning.
  7. Turn off the burner and let the melted chocolate stand for 3 minutes.
  8. Now, hold the pretzel rods from one end and dip the other end about ⅔ of the way up in the melted chocolate coating.
  9. Hold the coated pretzel rods vertically over the boiler for few seconds, letting the excess of chocolate drip off.
  10. Lay the coated pretzel rods in the pre-lined baking sheet, keeping reasonable distance in between.
  11. Set the coated pretzels on the baking sheet aside for few minutes, but not completely dry.
  12. Take advantage of the available time and prepare white chocolate in a bowl and melt in a microwave oven.
  13. Remove the bowl of melted white chocolate from oven and set aside for few seconds.
  14. Now, take a white chocolate coating and drizzle over the coated pretzels, gently swishing the fork back and forth without touching the pretzel rods.
  15. Immediately place the candies or sprinkles on disposable paper plate and roll the coated pretzel rods in it.
  16. Make sure to coat the rods from all sides.
  17. Lay the pretzel rods back on the lined baking sheet and refrigerate to cool.
  18. Remove the baking sheet from refrigerator once the pretzel rods are cooled well.
  19. Pick up the Halloween chocolate dipped pretzel rods one by one and arrange on a large serving platter or in a beautiful glass jar or mug.
  20. Serve and enjoy Halloween.
