Founded in 1988 by Jeff and Ann Hicks, The Hicks Gallery at Leopold road Wimbledon, has displayed the works of many acclaimed and emerging artists and vows to explore new talents. Some artists whose work was featured at the gallery are Amy Judd, Andrea Byrne, Angela Charles, Barry Reigate, Brad Faine, Brendan Neiland, Caroline Yates, Carolyn Landale and Dan Baldwin. How to Get to Hicks Gallery
By Tube
Wimbledon tube station is the nearest tube station from the gallery and the 0.5 distance between the two can be covered in 11 minutes (approximately) on foot. After you alight from the tube at the tube station, head northeast and turn left onto Alexandra road. Keep following Alexandra road and make a left turn from the roundabout onto Leopold Rd. By Bus
The nearest bus stop is “Strathearn Road (Stop HE)”. It would take you around 2 minutes to cover the 387 feet distance between the bus stop and the gallery. First of all reach the bus stop using bus number 156, 493 or N87. Now, start heading northeast and make a left turn onto Leopold Rd. You will find the gallery on your right side. View Map
