Find suitable location:
Find a suitable location to put your sea kayak on the ground. Be sure that the area is free from debris and is completely flat. It is usually a good idea to do this on the soft grass or sand to avoid any type of damage to the bottom of your sea kayak. -

Look inside cockpit:
Before doing anything else it is a good idea to take a nice look inside the sea kayak’s cockpit. Remember to take a look at the current position of the footpegs of the sea kayak. There should be enough room for your feet to be relaxed while sitting on the footpegs. -

Get inside:
Climb inside your sea kayak and sit as if you were out at sea. Remember to maintain your normal sitting positioning for your feet, legs, lower back and shoulders. Make a note of the distance between your feet and the comfort level that you are feeling. If you feel anything bothering you then make a note of that as well.
