How to Apply Self Tanner to Hands and Feet
Nowadays, most people love to tan their skin while sitting under the sun. A good way is to apply the tanner on your skin and sit under the hot sun for a few hours. However, there can be some side effects if you do not follow the correct directions which may result in dark creases on your skin and your hands turning orange.
To avoid this, there is a simple procedure you need to follow before you go for your tanning session. Take a shower and apply body lotion to the hands and feet before you apply the tan.

Take a shower and exfoliate your body
First of all, you need to take a shower. Wash your hands and legs and exfoliate your body so that the dead skin is removed. Take your time to properly exfoliate the hands, legs, ankles, knees and thighs. This is extremely important before you self tan your skin as your skin needs to be clean and fresh. -

Dry body and apply body lotion
When you have taken the shower, completely dry your skin with a towel. Make sure you completely dry your skin before you apply the tanner as that will give you the best results. Apply a body lotion to your skin. Make sure the amount you use in minimal as the more quantity to use, the more time it will take to dry. Try using the body lotion more in areas where the tanner has to be applied. -

Apply the tanner
After using the body lotion, apply the body tanning lotion to your legs first. Spray the tanner on the legs and apply it to the ankles and the feet. Carefully massage your skin to apply the tanner and take notice of the quantity you are using. After applying the tanner to the legs, spray the tanner on to your hands. Apply it to the forearms, elbows and arms. -

Wait for the tanner to dry off
Once you have applied the tanner to the hands and feet, wait for it to dry off before going in the sun. Wait for a good 15 minutes and then enjoy the sun with your tan.
