This cake is definitely a treat for all the chocolate horlicks. A chocolate cake is easy to make in a no time at all, very moist and family favourite for years. This yummy desert is suitable for all kind of celebrations and never ever fails to please your loved ones.
Ingredients
- Flour - 2 cups
- Baking soda - 1½ teaspoons
- Sugar - 1½ cups
- Buttermilk - ⅓ cup
- Vanilla – equally divided - 2¼ teaspoons
- Margarine - 2 sticks
- Water - 1 cup
- Shortening - ¼ cup
- Chocolate syrup - 8 tablespoons
- Milk - ¼ cup
- Nuts or fresh berries - 1 cup
- Eggs - 2
- Powdered sugar
Instructions
- The very first task in backing a chocolate cake is preheating your microwave oven at 400-degree foreign height.
- Grab a large mixing bowl and place 2 cups of flour, 1 ½ cups of sugar, ⅓ cup buttermilk, 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla in it.
- Combine all the ingredients in the bowl until mix thoroughly.

- Pour the batter into the greased baking pan.
- Place it in a pre-heat oven and bake it for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare the icing of the chocolate cake.
- Pick up a medium pan and place the other stick of the margarine, ¼ cup of milk and 4 tablespoons of chocolate syrup in it.
- Place the pan in the stove and bring it boil at medium heat.
- Remove the pan from the heat when all of the ingredients inside it mix thoroughly.
- Grab a medium mixing bowl and place 1 tablespoon vanilla, powdered sugar and 1 cup of the nuts in it. Mix all ingredients well.
- Take out the cake from the oven and top it with the mixture in the bowl.
- Your delicious chocolate cake is ready, set it aside at room temperate until cool properly. yo can garnish your cake with fresh berries and strawberries if you like.
