Apple sauce muffins are one of tastiest and easily to make muffins. You can easily make them at your home. All you need is a little time and few ingredients. If you are looking forward to bake apple sauce muffins for your family or friends, you can take help from the given steps.
Ingredients
- Butter: 6 tablespoons
- All-purpose flour: 1½ cups
- Baking powder: 1 teaspoon
- Baking soda: ½ teaspoon
- Cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: ½ teaspoon
- Eggs: 2
- Brown sugar: ⅔ cup
- Chunky applesauce: 1½ cups
Instructions
- First of all, you have to preheat the oven to around 375 degrees. Meanwhile, take a 12-cup muffin tin containing the bake cups and keep it aside.
- Now, take a small bowl and put some butter in it. Keep it in microwave for around half a minute. Get the bowl out of the microwave and keep it aside to cool down.
- Then, take a large bowl. Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon, baking powder and salt into the bowl. Mix all the ingredients well. You have to stir until all the ingredients blend well with each other and the flour is no more visible. It will make the texture of your muffins brittle and they will become tastier to eat.
- Whisk the eggs with the brown sugar in another bowl and mix the apple sauce along with the melted butter until they become smooth. In order to make the muffins free from any kind of mess, you can use a scoop of an ice-cream to pummel in the cups.
- Now, you have to pour the apple mixture in the flour and mix them well with the help of a wooden spoon. You should mix it until you see no flour in the mixture.
- Take a spoon and fill the baking cups with the mixture. Each cup should be filled up to two-third of its capacity. Place the cups in the oven and bake them for around 20 minutes. Keep an eye on the muffins and take them out when they become light brown.
