- Baking soda - 2¼ tsp
- Salt - 1½ tsp
- Cocoa powder - 1⅛ cups
- Baking powder - 2¼ tsp
- Eggs - 3
- Hot water - 1½ cups
- Milk - 1½ cups
- Vegetable oil - ¾ cup
- Vanilla extract - 1 tbsp
- Decorations for the cakes, such as sprinkles or coloured sugar
Instructions
- First of all, you have to preheat your oven to around 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Then, take the tin roasting pan which you can easily find in the stores.
- Cut the triangle or circles into the pan and make room for the cone.
- After that, flip over the covers and place the cone cups in the pan.
- Take a bowl and put flour, baking powder, sugar, cocoa, salt and baking soda in it.
- Now, mix all the ingredients well with each other.
- Take another bowl and add oil, vanilla extract, milk and eggs in it.
- Blend all the ingredients well with each other.
- Now, put the flour mixture in the egg mixture and add some hot water in it.
- Mix all the ingredients well again.
- Now, you have to spray the cooking oil lightly on the cone cups.
- Afterwards, divide the mixture evenly in the cone cups.
- Put the mixture in the oven and bake for around 25 to 30 minutes.
- Keep an eye on the mixture so that it may not get overheated.
- Take it out and set it aside to cool down. After that, invert the baking pan and remove the cups.
- Insert a toothpick in the cups and take it out, if it comes out clean, it means the cakes are fully baked.
- On the other hand, if it doesn’t come out clean, it means you have to bake it for a few more minutes.
- You can use anything as topping to decorate your cakes before serving.
