Rest assured, it will take time but ultimately you will be able to pave the path to their heart and soul.

    Understand the children:

You should try to know them individually. Remember, every kid has a different psyche and you cannot treat them in same manner. Try to find out their likes and dislikes and this will definitely help you in building a special bond with your step-children. The best way is to form an affectionate connection even before you take your vows.

    Be kind and uncomplaining:

You must be prepared to face problems as kids won’t accept change easily and will retaliate. However, you must be kind and patient all the time. The most important thing is consistency. You must not shower your love upon them in patches. Just be courteous and nice all the times and ultimately you will win their confidence.

Tying knot is not everything rather you will have to join hands with your spouse in a real sense. Discuss things with your life partner and make a plan to gain love from your step-children.
