How to Be Open Minded
Life is not about doing what you believe is right. Man is a social animal and cannot live without others around. We are associated with a lot of things that shape us in the way we are. Therefore, it is always nice to accept what people around you have to say about you otherwise you won’t be able to become successful.
Open mindedness is a very good thing indeed and it is an essential tool of making you a complete human being. You are not the only one with ideas and others can have better information than you.
It is nice to be an expert in something, but that doesn’t mean you should become a dictator and do whatever you like. Try to take the views of others as well, as that will make you a better and popular person amongst everyone.
Sometimes we ignore the fact that the smallest of things can have a massive impact. Whenever we talk to our juniors, we treat them in a way that they know nothing about life or any other matter. However, the words of wisdom can be uttered by anyone and it depends on you whether you are able to learn from that or not.
Let’s say you are a captain of a cricket team and are going for the toss. If you take the opinion of your team-mates, it will be a better idea, as everyone will give their 100 percent in the field to prove themselves right.
On the other hand, if you don’t consider anyone else’s opinion, people will hold you responsible for the consequences. As a result, you will feel guilty and might lose your position as the leader of the side.

Don’t jump to conclusions
Whenever someone gives you an idea, don’t jump to the conclusion too soon. Listen to the other person carefully and then decide what to do. -

No one can be perfect and we all make mistakes in life, so it is better to accept that you are not going to be 100 percent accurate all the times. Therefore, listen to others with an open mind and apply their ideas to your life. -

Listen to the experiences of others
It is useful to be a good listener. Always listen to the experiences of your colleagues, friends and family members, as they could teach your important lessons. -

Humanity is above all
Sex, gender, age, race, cast and religion should not make a difference to you. Rate humanity above all these things with an open mind.
