Qualifications of the job
If you are a citizen of the United States of America, you must be very fluent in English and should be at least eighteen years of age. However, the requirements may vary from country to country. The physical requirements of the job also vary from one airline to the other. The height of flight attendants usually ranges between 5’0 to 6’3.
You are required to have a GED in order to be hired as a flight attendant. However, no higher academic degree is required. Some airlines offer their own flight training programs, which are given after the hiring.
