    Listen and Practice

Listen to others who have read audio books and learn from them. You must give a lot of attention while listening and make it a routine that you listen to something different every day. Understand how the delivery is made by the professionals and how they express emotions through their voice. Read the same passage before and after listening to the audio tape. It is also not a bad idea to record your own voice and listen to your latest and previous recording of the same passage to see how much progress you have made.

    Take Classes

Taking acting classes can also help as some of the book readers are professional actors and therefore understand how to better deliver a dialogue in a certain situation. Also this will help you stay in touch with talent agencies who recruit artists that read for the audio books.
