How To Bling Out your Cell Phone With Crystals
One possible way to change the entire look of your cell phone is to decorate it with crystals. You can choose any design; simple or elaborate. Furthermore, you can choose crystals of any desired colour. Before you set about encrusting your cell phone with crystals, it would be a good idea to plan the design beforehand so that you can determine the number of crystal you will need. Keep your budget in mind because not all stones or crystals cost the same.

– Paper
– Pencil
– Tweezers
– Ruler
– Flat and self-adhesive crystals
– Rubbing alcohol

Using a pencil, outline the shape of your cell phone on a blank piece of paper.

On another piece of paper, sketch a design by drawing stripes, dots, symbols or letters. Make straight lines if desired with the help of a ruler.

Decide a colour scheme. Choose complementary, contrasting or any other colour combination.

Depending on the sketch you drew earlier, determine the required number of crystals.
Based on the planned size of crystals you will be using, calculate horizontal and vertical rows. This will help you get an idea of the number of crystals you will need. It is always good to purchase a few extra crystals that can be used if repairs are required at a later stage. -

Use a cotton ball moistened with rubbing alcohol to properly clean the cell phone’s outer surface. Allow time for the cell phone to dry completely before moving on to the next step.

Draw the predetermined design on your cell with a pencil so that you can know where exactly the crystals would go.

Now comes the real part which is affixing crystals on the cell phone. Detach one self adhesive crystal from the sheet. If the crystal is small in size, consider using tweezers because holding onto a tiny crystal is often very difficult.

Affix the crystal at its appropriate location on the cell phone, using the design you drew on the cell phone as a reference.

Continue in this manner until the entire sketch is covered with crystals. Finally, affix additional crystals on the edges of the cell phone, if desired.
