– 2 Tubes of Landscape Adhesive or Heavy-Duty Construction Adhesive
– Hand Tamper
– Caulk Gun
– Gloves
– Mallet
– Shovel

Instructions

  • 1

First of all, you have to dig a six inches deep hole which is 30-inch-by-30-inch square-shaped. It will be a bit difficult to dig the hole, but it is compulsory as it will provide the needed stability to your mailbox.

  • 2

After digging the hole, pour the paver base into it (of around 3 inches deep). Then, tamp it well until it becomes compact.

  • 3

Now, you have to lay the first course. Keep leveling it as you place each stone. After that, level the first course by using the remaining base and fill it well.

  • 4

You have to rotate the pattern exactly 180 degrees for every course. Then, use landscape adhesive if you feel the need of it and check for level.

  • 5

After setting the 10th course, you have to anchor the plate which is mounting to the block with the help of concrete screws in order to attach the mailbox.

  • 6

Use the wood screws to place the mailbox on the plate and set two stones on both the sides. You will have to repeat it a couple of times with 12th and 13th courses until the mailbox is completely covered.

  • 7

Then, turn the second last course (14th) in the horizontal direction. Finish your the final course by placing the stones in the horizontal direction in the centre across the ones which are underneath it.
