How to Burn a CD on Windows Media Player
Windows Media Player application is part of Microsoft Windows that allows users to play videos, songs and mp3, mp4 files. It is an extremely smart programme that also lets you burn data and audio CD’s for your personal and professional needs. If you are looking to burn a CD in Windows Media Player, you will be glad to know that the steps involved are extremely easy. However, it is recommended to have clearance to burn the CD’s of your choice to avoid breaching the copyrights. Turn on your computer and wait for Windows to load. Enter your username and password and find the Windows Media Player icon in the start up menu. If you are unable to locate Windows Media Player in the start up menu, consider clicking All Programmes menu and find the programme there.

You can find the Burn tab in the Media Player Library on the main menu. As you click the Burn option another window will open up. Select the appropriate option i.e. Data CD or Audio CD as per your requirements.

Now consider placing a blank CD-R into your desktop or laptop’s CD player and wait for it to load. If a new window with the Autoplay option appears, close it instantly.

Next, find the files in the Window Media Player Library that you intend to burn on the CD. You can either cut and paste the objects into the CD folder or drag the files into the right, middle or left pane of the list.

Depending on your personal needs, you can adjust the files as per your requirements. Move the files up or down by dragging them to the place of your choice. If you want to delete any specific files from the list, you can do so by right clicking on the file and selecting the “Remove from the list” option.

Once you are done with dragging the files, simply start the Burn process to record the data or files to your CD. Depending on the size of the files, the burn process can take a few minutes to complete.
