How to Change a Baby’s Nappy
Changing baby’s nappy is no doubt one among the daunting tasks for parents as it requires expertise along with proper knowledge otherwise your baby will be in trouble. There are two types of nappy, disposable and cloth. Both types of nappy have their own advantages and disadvantages. Select the type of nappy according you baby’s skin sensitivity and your budget as clothes nappies are considered cost effective as compared to disposable nappies. Things Required:
A clean disposable or cloth nappy
Nappy wipes or cotton wool balls
Warm water
Nappy cream if your baby has nappy rash
Changing mat
Towel or clean cloth
A diversion – in order to divert the concentration of your baby during the nappy changing process

First of all, prepare all the things required to change a nappy of your baby.

Place a soft changing mat on the area where you are going to change your baby’s nappy. Make sure to set up a properly warm, clean, and dry area to change the nappy. However, you can also use a towel or clean soft cloth nappy for this purpose.

Now, wash your hand properly and give a cute to your baby in order to mentally prepare him or her for nappy changing.

Sprawl your baby on a comfortable surface and unfasten his or her dirty diaper’s tabs.

Unfasten the tabs of the diaper back to themselves with the mess inside in order to make sure they do not stick to your baby’s skin. Make sure not to remove the dirty diaper yet.

Now, grab baby wipes or wet cotton wool and clean the sensitive areas of your baby very smoothly. Make sure to wipe from front to back as it reduces the chances of spreading bacteria or nappy rashes.

Lift both legs of your baby and clean his or her buttock as well.

Put the dirty wipes or cotton wool inside your baby’s dirty diaper. Wrap it thoroughly with the help of the adhesive tabs on both sides of the diaper, cleaning up as tidy as you can.

Lay a fresh diaper under your baby, apply diaper-rash cream on his or her sensitive area, and bring the two tabs around your baby from back and tie them up to the front.

Put the dirty diaper in the plastic bag and throw into the dustbin. Wash your hands and dress your baby.
