How to Child Proof an Android

Click the “Apps” button in the menu to open up the Android applications in your phone.

Go to the “Play Store” to search for your desired application to install. Make sure your smart phone is connected to the internet via a Wifi connection or cellular data. You can only download applications from the Play Store if your cell phone is connected to the internet server.

Click the spyglass on the top right corner of your Android smart phone screen and a dialogue box will appear. Type “Kinds place-parental control” in the dialogue box and hit the search button to get the app.

The “Kids place-parental control” app will appear after the search is complete. Tap the icon and a blue button will appear in the top right corner of the screen. Install by clicking that button. It is totally free to install this app!

Once you have installed the “Kids place-parental control” application, open it and a screen will prompt out asking to enter a PIN code. You can add any 4-digit PIN code of your choice and after you have entered the same code in the two boxes provided, tap the “Update PIN” button at the bottom right of the screen.

Once the app is opened, a green button will appear on the top, stating “Select Apps for Kids Place” and you have to tap it to open the list of applications. Check the boxes available to the right of the apps’ list and add those applications you desire suitable for your children. Your kids will be able to open up only those selected applications and none else.

Now in the last, click the Menu button and select “Lock Home Button” from the settings. This will avoid your children from exiting the locked app and you will be assured that your kids only use the applications you permitted to them.
