Let the participants know what to expect
You must let the participants know what you are expecting from them. This also includes what you expect the participants to wear and how you want them to behave during the tryouts. The best way to communicate with the potential players is through your website or by giving an information sheet to each participant that is registered. -

Schedule the tryouts
The tryouts should be properly scheduled and you should provide a timeline to the participants so that they plan accordingly. You must designate a day each for endurance and practice sessions so that the true ability of the player is tested. -

Endurance tests and drills
Checking the volleyball skills is not the only thing. You need to conduct endurance tests also to check the stamina and fitness of each participant.
