How to Convert Cities in the Civilization Phase of Spore
Spore is a computer game, which was published by Electronic Arts in 2008. After you have successfully completed the Tribal Phase of this game, your society will turn into a religious one. This is called the Civilisation Phase of Spore.
In this phase, players are required to convert enemy cities to their own religion. This is a relatively difficult phase and involves the use of different kinds of Sea, Land and Air Vehicles. These vehicles are used in tandem with manpower to convert cities in the Civilisation Phase of Spore.

1
Start by designing your Land Vehicle, right after the City Hall has been designed. To convert cities rather easily, you will need to stay in the offensive mode. For this reason, it would be best to design the Land Vehicle with Religious Power weighted at 50%, whereas as Health and Speed need to be weighted at 30% and 20% respectively.

2
Take hold of as many Spice Geysers as you possibly can. Your nation would be able to collect resources from these Spice Geysers after your Sea and Land Vehicles setup platforms on the Spice Geysers you take. Large amounts of resources are needed to maintain a hold on your territory in Religious and Military civilizations because you will need to fight several battles.

In order to generate more manpower and capital, build up your cities as much as possible. You will need these additional resources to convert your enemies. To prevent your enemies from attacking your cities before you have converted them, add at least 2 turrets to each of the cities. These turrets will assure that your enemies remain at bay.

Start converting cities, one city at a time. Enemy Vehicles may be roaming around the city which you intend to convert. Convert these Vehicles first. This will prevent Vehicles from blasting and thus killing your forces while they are set at converting a city. To assign the task of converting a city to your forces, simply right click on the enemy’s City Hall and then choose ‘Convert’ from the dropdown menu.

You will require trans-continental vehicles such as Sea and Air Vehicles to convert cities settled on the coast or further inland. For this reason, you will have to invest large amounts of resources in Air Vehicles because only these vehicles can attack cities anywhere on the globe.
