The first step is to wash a pot thoroughly and then dry it with the help of a clean towel. Now place the pot on a burner and slightly turn it on. This will help dry the pot completely. You can now add oil in the pot and heat for a few minutes.

2
Now add the onions in the pot and cook until they are soft, this will take somewhere around five to eight minutes. With your onions all set, now add the ground beef and cook until the time the beef is no longer pink. When it begins to darken in colour this is a sign that the beef is cooking properly. Use a wooden spoon to keep turning the meet in order to prevent it from burning.

You now have to introduce the chilli powder and stir for a while. Keep stirring until you can no longer see the chilli power in its solid form. You now need to add the remaining ingredients one by one and once all are in the pot start stirring with the spoon. You will need to apply considerable force to keep stirring which will help in properly mixing all the ingredients in the pot.

Now stop stirring and boil the contents of the pot. Once boiled, you need to lower the burner and cover the pot with a lid to let it simmer for about ten minutes.

Later, take the pot off the burner and serve your cooked chilli with cornbread or crackers.
