Steps to Cook Lemon Chicken

The Lemon Chicken, with a tangy taste, is one among those famous chicken dishes that can be prepared in multiple ways. You can bring variation in this versatile dish by slight changes in its easily available ingredients. This simple recipe of Lemon Chicken is enough for 4 to 6 people but you can increase the quantity of its ingredients according to the number of your guests or family members.

Ingredients:
fresh lemon juice: 1/2 cup
water: 1 1/2 cups
olive oil: 1/2 cup
dried oregano: 1/2 tablespoon
garlic powder: 1 tsp
Rosemary: 1/2 tablespoon
chicken breasts: 4
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon sauceĀ  for serving purpose

    First of all, pre-heat your oven at 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Pick a large mixing bowl and place 1/2 cup of fresh lemon juice, 1 1/2 cups of water, 1/2 cup of olive oil, 1/2 tablespoon of dried oregano and 1/2 tablespoon of Rosemary in it.

    Stir all ingredients for few seconds until mix completely. Taste the mixture, add in more salt, and pepper if needed.

    Place the 4 chicken breasts in the lemon-mixture and mix thoroughly. Set this mixture aside at room temperature for approximately 24 hours until the lemon is completely absorbed by the chicken pieces (marinade).

    Grab ovenproof baking pan and place the four chicken breasts in it. Completely cover the baking pan with a foil and place it in the pre-heat oven.

    Bake the chicken pieces 450 degrees Fahrenheit for almost 45 minutes.

    Turn off your oven and take out the baking pan.

    Gently open the foil and place it in the oven again. Bake it for another 10 minutes

    Remove the baking pan from oven, arrange the chicken pieces in a plate sprinkle with shallots, and place 2 to 3 slices of fresh lemon at the top.
