Don’t put too much load on your computer while working on Word, because this slows the speed. Open Word 2007, and clink on ‘New’ to open a fresh page. If you are already preparing a file, you can still add boxes to it. Go to ‘Insert’ menu, which is right next to ‘Home’ on the top navigation.

There will be many options in there, but look for the one that says ‘Text Box’, lying in the ‘Text’ group.

As you click on it, a list will pop up with different shapes of the boxes. Choose the box of your choice. If you don’t like any, you can draw one of your own. Right under the different shapes, there is an option that says ‘Draw Box’.
