If you do not have a Wordpress blog, you can create one by navigating to Wordpress website. On the main page, you will be able to see the Create My Wordpress Blog. Click on that and you will be sent to a new page. Enter your personal details including the username password, blog URL address and credit card details if you want to buy the domain name.

Find the appearance menu in the Wordpress control panel for your blog. As you click the appearance link, another window will open that will display a list of options. Choose the header menu and you will be navigated to a new page where you will be able to make changes or upload a new header image.

If you have not created your header image yet, then consider downloading Adobe Photoshop from the Adobe website. The product can be easily installed on to the computer. Let the installation process complete and then find the Photoshop icon in the start menu.

Now, consider locating the file menu in the main menu of Adobe Photoshop. Select the New option to start making changes to the image for your header section. It is recommended to consider your blog design style and selected them when creating the header picture. Also, determine the desired size for the blog header. If you know the size in pixels, you can make a file exactly of that size.

Add layers of text, photos, graphics and much more to your blog using Photoshop’s layer function. Once you have done making changes to the file, click the Save As from the drop down menu in the main menu. Enter the file name and select the .jpg or .jpeg for the file. Upload the image onto your blog from the control panel section.
