How to Darken Hair Naturally With Coffee
Most people do not realize that coffee has been used for ages to color hair. Coffee is a very safe and inexpensive alternative to using hair dyes, which are filled with harmful chemicals. If you want to darken your hair naturally with coffee, you will need a few simple items and a little patience to get the color that will turn heads when you walk by.
Things Required:
– ¼ cup brewed or instant hot coffee
– 1 tablespoon instant coffee
– 1 bottle hair conditioner
– Shampoo
– Towel
– Blow Dryer
– Plastic bag

First you will have to make a mixture of one tablespoon of instant coffee with half a cup of conditioner. Make sure that you stir everything so that the coffee is properly dissolved in the conditioner.

Take ¼ of a cup of hot instant or brewed coffee and mix it with the conditioner. You will want to mix it all properly so that you get a nice smooth consistency to your mixture.

Now, find a nice place where you have easy access to water, like the bathroom, to apply this mixture on your hair. Make sure to put the towel on to protect your body from getting coffee all over it. Take a little bit of the coffee mixture and gently place it on your hair. You will want to make sure that your hair is dry during this procedure. Make sure to take your time as you apply the coffee mixture on your hair.

Take a few minutes to massage the coffee mixture in your hair. You will need to make sure that your entire head is covered with the coffee mix.

Once you have completely covered your hair with the coffee mixture, take the plastic bag and tie it around your head. This will trap the heat coming from the brewed or instant coffee that you mixed earlier to give you a nice deep color. Make sure to keep the plastic bag on your head for around 30 minutes.

After removing the plastic bag, shampoo the excess coffee mixture from your hair. You might have to rinse your hair a couple of times to completely remove the coffee mixture. Dry your hair off with the towel or blow dryer and style them as usual. You should notice a nice coffee color throughout your hair, all the way to your scalp.
