Getting started
Sew the patches of your choice to display the things that you love. For media related patches such as bands or movies, visit entertainment stores or places that sell band merchandise like Nirvana or Hot Topic. On the other hand, purchase fabric paint. It is inexpensive and available in a variety of colours. Make use of nozzles to draw different designs on the back panel or get brushes for soft strokes or certain images. Anchor the jacket when you begin to paint. Place a piece of cardboard inside the jacket so that the paint does not go through to other areas. -

Spray paint
Use spray paint to stencil on words. Place down a word stencil with letters around 1 to 2 inches tall. Place it using some tape. Make sure you paint slowly and allow it to dry before you place another stencil over the first one. Put newspapers down before painting the jean jacket and add cardboard inside the clothing to protect it. -

Use different things to decorate the jackets
Make shapes or new panels out of old clothes. Sew them onto your jean jacket using a needle and some thread. You can attach two strips of leopard, zebra or cheetah print to the side panels of the jean jacket. Then attach rhinestones along the pocket or cuff seams on the clothing with the help of a hot glue gun. After that, embroider curved lines, teardrop shapes and circles on the pockets for a great design. In addition to this, you can embroider a vine of flowers down the arm of the jean jacket. Be sure that the design suits your overall style before finalising it.
