Every year, county fairs are held in different parts of the world, showcasing rides, carnival-style games and different types of food items that you do not find on any other occasion. If fried Oreo cookies are something you list in your special purchases at a county fair, then there is a good news for you.
Ingredients
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Oreo cookies
  • Cooking oil
  • Pancake mix
  • Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. First of all, you need to take Oreo cookies and place them in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
  2. This will prevent them from crumbling or melting when you will deep fry them.
  3. Now you need to decide which cooking oil you would like to use to fry Oreo cookies.
  4. Like many other people, you can also use vegetable oil for this purpose.
  5. However, if you are looking to give your cookies a different taste, then you can consider using peanut or almond oil.
  6. Take a deep fryer and pour the selected oil in it, before turning it on.
  7. Let it reach 375 degrees Fahrenheit temperature.
  8. Take pancake mix, milk, egg and 2 tablespoons of oil and mix them well in a large sized bowl.
  9. Keep mixing to form a batter, with good consistency and a smooth texture.
  10. Now take out Oreo cookies from the refrigerator and start coating them with the batter.
  11. Make sure that the cookies are completely covered with batter.
  12. Drop the coated cookies into the deep fryer and fry them for one minute.
  13. Flip them and once again fry them for around one minute, before using a skimmer to take them out from the oil.
  14. Sprinkle the cookies with powdered sugar and allow them to cool completely.
