How to Deny Access to a Bank Account
You can deny an unauthorized access to your bank account if you think your identity has been compromised. There are many ways to get your account blocked immediately and deny the hacker or intruder an access to your banking details. The best option is to report your banking institution about the security breach immediately after you become aware of it and cancel all your payments and other dealings involving your bank account for the time being.

Protect Security Details
Start with protecting your pin number and all other security details relating to your banking services. Do not trust and share the details with even your closest friend. Also, if you save these details on your mobile or a diary, do it with some code words. Do not mention phrases like Debit Card pin number etc. Also, do not use text messaging system to get PIN code from your spouse, if you cannot remember yourself. This can compromise your banking security details if your phone is lost. -

Report to the Bank
The most important step you need to take at the time you become aware that your identity has been compromised is to phone your banking institution and credit card companies, and get all cards cancelled immediately. This will prevent your money from being accessed by any other person. Also ask the bank to not clear any cheque until your are issued new cards and pin code. -

Report To The Police
You can also report the matter to police, especially if you have been plundered of some money due to unauthorized access to your account. The police can investigate the matter through anti-card theft systems and might be able to catch the culprit. -

Get Other Details Removed
If someone has been using your name or some other details to make payments on your behalf from your account, get removed all those names and details from your bank.
