How to Disable Animation in Office 2013
Office 2013 is undoubtedly an awesome updated version of Office 2007, with a good number of cool, interesting and useful features in it. But still, there are some annoying and infuriating things in it that really bothers you a lot.

Disabling Office 2013 Animation
First of all, you have to open Windows Run Box. Write regedit in it and click OK. It will open Windows Registry Editor. In case User Account Control (UAC) is enabled on your system, then you will be asked for administrative privileges by the Windows before running the Registry Editor.

Now navigate to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Common\ in the Registry Editor and set up a new key. For this, just right click on the second option ‘New’ and make a new key and name it Graphics.

After that, select the Graphics key, the one you have just made, and set a new DWORD (32-bit) key. In order to set a new key, right click on an empty space and click on New—>DWORD (32-bit) Value and name it DisableAnimations.

Once you have created the key, double click on it and change its value. Type 1 in Hexadecimal mode and save the key.

All done. Now, you won’t see any animation on any of the Office 2013 products. If you want to get the previous settings, just change the value of the key to 0 or remove the key.
