How to Display a Rock Collection

A rock is defined as a piece of stone that has been shrouded off the original rock and now holds place as a separate identity itself. There basically are three types of rocks. The first type of rock is defined as the igneous rocks, the second type is regarded as the sedimentary rocks and the third type of rocks is known as the metamorphic rocks. Igneous rocks are made up from the molten lava and when this lava solidifies after coming out of mountains, this makes up the igneous rocks. The sedimentary rocks are made up when these igneous rocks tend to travel with the action of water and go on to settle after time’s passage into rock-beds or even seas. These form layers of rocks and with the application and action of water on these rock pieces of igneous rocks, the layers become stacked together and finally form sedimentary rocks, after the application of stress of water and the sea. The third type of rocks are the metamorphic rocks and these are made after these sedimentary rocks and the igneous rocks go under further application of stress after millions of years and these form the metamorphic rocks. Rocks are often regarded as precious substances and many people reserve them with their collections as they know the true values of these rocks.
