How to Do a Heelside Railstand on a Skateboard

Just about everyone is looking to break free and done something which they can be happy about. People try to live on the edge and get themselves pumped up on Adrenaline as much as they can. In order to do this, they try to perform a wide array of sports and other things. These include just about anything from cliff diving to parasailing.

However, one of the slightly safer yet more common things for people to do, for them is to go on pick a skateboard and then go on and do whatever they can do with it. This is almost always entertaining and can prove to be rather amazing, one of the more common and popular moves to perform on a skateboard is a heelside railstand. This move might not sound like much, but it isn’t very easy to perform and requires a lot of dedication and hard work to master.

    Now the first thing you need to do, in order to master the art of doing the heelside railstand is to go on grab a skateboard and hit the streets. You need to be able to move yourself on and with a skateboard rather well, before you can even think of going on to perform such a difficult move.

    After you have done so, you need to remember that the move is a little tricky to do so you need to be patient.

    In order to perform it, you need to take your backfoot off the board and  then take the toes of this very foot and place them on the side of the back wheel on the board. Once this foot is in this position, you need to go on and jump off your front foot. While jumping you need to pull the skateboard onto its side using the other foot.

    You don’t have to get very high, but once you are high up, then get yourself onto the side of the board and position yourself on top of it. This is essential to you pulling the move off and to make sure that you don't mess it up, balance as well as you can.

    Don’t expect to go ahead and be able to do the best heelside railstand on the very first day that you start to learn it. It is going to take time, so remember to be patient when you are trying to master it on your own.
