How to Do a White French Tip Manicure
A manicure is a cosmetic treatment for hands and fingernails, which can be performed both at salons and at home, in order to make your hands feel soft and look beautiful. A typical manicure includes a massage of hands, filing, shaping and polishing of nails. The most popular type of manicures is French manicure, which is characterized by natural pink base nails and white tips. These manicures lack dark base colours and maintain the natural look of nails. Salon French manicures are quite expensive but there is no reason you cannot get it done at home. It is very simple and will take about 15 to 20 minutes.
Things Required:
– Nude or pale pink nail polish
– White nail polish
– Nail polish remover
– Cotton balls
– Water
– Bowl

Fill a large bowl with warm water. Add a few drops of rose water and fresh rose petals as well to the warm water (optional). Soak your hands in this water for several minutes (5-10 minutes). This will soften the hard cuticles, making it easier for you to remove dead skin around your nails. You can also use whole milk or olive oil instead of warm water. This will make your hands super soft.

Remove hangnails, if any, as well as the dead skin around your nails and slightly push the cuticles back, using tools especially designed for nail care.

Trim your nails and give them a shape of your choice using a nail filer (White French tip manicure looks great on square shaped nails).

Wipe off nail dust and clean your nails with a nail polish remover applied on a cotton ball.

Cover your nail with tape, except the tip.

Paint the uncovered part of your nail with white nail polish. Let some polish stain the tape as well, because you will peel it off once done painting the tip.

Remove the tape from the nail carefully, while the polish has not dried yet. Peeling the tape off after the paint has dried may scratch some from the tip of your nail as well.

To make the remaining part of your nail neat and shiny, paint it with some clear nail polish or the one that has a tint of pink, like nude or pale pink. Paint the white part of your nail as well with this sheer.

Repeat the procedure on your remaining nails as well and enjoy great looking French tipped nails.
