How to Do an Easy Knot Up-Do

In the first step of this knot up, you should separate your hair horizontally right at the crown of your head as shown in the picture on the right. You can do this easily with one hand.

In the second step, you need to divide the hair you were holding into two equal sections with each one in your two hands.

After that, you need to tie up both sections in a knot as shown in the picture. After you are done with this, you need to insert two bobby pins, one from each side, left and right. Make sure you insert the pins horizontally and let the ends flow freely.

In this step, you need to repeat step 3 with the second and third sections of your hair, knotting and pinning them until you reach the nape of your neck. Repeat the same step for the fourth section as well. After you are done, gather any two sections from the left side and knot them up with two bobby pins from the top and bottom vertically. Repeat this step for the right side of your head, selecting any two loose ends and knotting them up with bobby pins inserted vertically.

After you are done with that, again get any two left ends and knot them up together. Again use bobby pins from the top and bottom vertically. Repeat this step for the right side of your head.

When you are done with all the five steps above, you will have a nice looking knot up style. If you have any loose ends, tie them up with pins. You can also use hair spray to hold your hair together for a daylong hairstyle. This will make sure you look your best and will surely turn a few heads around.
