How to Do Exotic Makeup
If you are tired of your daily makeup routine then perhaps it is time to give your makeup a little kick of colour. You can do exotic makeup by bringing small changes in your everyday makeup routine. This is not going to be easy however, as using bold colours and learning to blend them will take some time and practice to perfect.

The most important component in makeup is the foundation, so no matter what sort of makeup you are planning to do, you need to apply the foundation first, before anything else. Foundation helps in creating an even skin tone.

Now in order to highlight your cheekbones you need to use a highlighter. This will help in giving your face a healthy glow.

Next, apply an eye shadow base. As you will be using bold colours for the eyes to achieve your exotic look, it is important that the base is applied such that the eye makeup doesn’t fade away. You can either use your finger or a makeup brush to apply the eye shadow base on the eyelids.

You need to know which colours will look good on you, and since exotic makeup will require you to use bold colours it is best that you use colors that compliment your skin tone.

Once your eye shadow is done, it is time to wrap up your eye makeup. Curl your lashes and line your eyes with eyeliner. Apply another coat of mascara, and if you desire thicker lashes, wait for the first coat to dry before applying another.

Now it is time to work on the lips and see which colour needs to be used on them. Your lip colour will vary depending on the eye shadow combinations you have used. For instance if you have used teal eye makeup then they are complimented by peach lips.
