How to Do Rope Magic Tricks
Besides using rope for tying or climbing purposes, rope can be used for entertainment purposes. Magicians use rope from several years in order to entertain people by performing different skills. After getting a rope or string, you can perform different skills such as making a cut rope whole again or pass a string through a person. After learning some simple tricks and following some guidelines, you can easily perform in front of audience.

Gather the supplies
You are required to get two 10-foot-long lengths of rope and then double them over on each other. You can also take two thick strings of similar length for this purpose. Later you are required to tie them together in centre with a piece of thread. -

Pick up the rope
Next you need to pick the ropes and hold it from the centre. You should use your left hand to hold the centre which is held together with a thread. Later you are required to call two volunteers and your assistant. You can also call someone from the crowd who is wearing long coat to join you. -

Place the rope behind the coat
Now you need to place the rope behind the coat of the audience member you have called. You are required to hold both ends of the rope gently around both sides of him. In case you are performing this trick on your assistant, you need to follow the similar steps. -

Let the volunteers hold the rope
Next you need to let both volunteers hold one end each. Later hold one end from volunteer and then tie a knot over the chest of the audience member or your assistant. After tying the knot you need to give it back to the volunteer. Remember to tie a single knot on the assistant’s chest. -

Let the assistant take two steps back
In the end you need to let the assistant or the audience member take two steps back. On the other hand you need to give directions to the two volunteers to hold the rope tightly. By this, the rope will break and will eventually appear in front of his body. It will look like it has passed through his body.
