    Give yourself a facial

Facials help remove dead skin cells, oil and other grime from your face, and promote the regeneration of new skin cells. There are several over the counter facial scrubs and masks available in the market. You can always apply the one that best suits your skin type. You can also make your own exfoliator by using some simple and common household items like brown sugar, olive oil, avocado, and so on. For example, scrub your skin with a mixture of brown sugar and olive oil for several minutes and then wash it off with warm water. To make your own face mask, smash ½ of an avocado and mix it with one tablespoon of yogurt. Then, apply this mixture on your face and leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes or until it is dry. Wash it off with warm water, followed by a couple of splashes of cold water.

    Scrub your body

Scrub your body in a gradual manner but thoroughly, by using a body scrub. Like facial scrubs, there are a number of ready to use body scrubs and exfoliators available in the market, and you can also make your own at home, to remove any dead skin cells. Mix one cup of brown sugar and half a cup of olive oil in a mixing bowl and scrub your body gently with the mixture.

    Take a shower

After you have scrubbed your body, apply shampoo and conditioner on your hair and take a shower using a perfumed body wash or soap of your choice. After taking a shower, you can also take a good soak in the bathtub. This will help relax your body and mind.

    Pedicure and manicure

If your hands and feet need extra cleaning, massage them with a lotion and soak them in warm water for 10 to 15 minutes. Pat them dry, and then massage again with the lotion. Remove any nail polish, push back the cuticles, and cut and file your nails. Once you are done, apply your favourite nail polish and let your nails dry completely to prevent chipping and scratching.
