How to do the Mind Reading Card Trick
The mind reading card trick is probably the most simple and interesting type of card trick that you can play. The good thing about this trick is that you can perform it in the least possible time. Simply take a deck of card and shuffle it the way you like. Now out it on the table and ask the spectator to cut it wherever he wants and select any card out of the deck. Once the card is selected the spectator puts it back on the top of the deck and then you make a few cuts. After that you turn the cards with face towards you and bring out the selected.

Shuffle the deck properly to make the spectator feel that all the cards are evenly placed in the deck. Once done with shuffling, take a glimpse of the bottom card which will serve as your key card.

After you have glimpsed the bottom card, put the deck on the table and ask the spectator to cut the deck anywhere he likes to and make two piles.

Once the deck is cut and there are two piles, i.e. a- that has the key card in the bottom and b- that the spectator just separated. Now ask the spectator to choose a card from the deck, memorize it and put it on the top the pile 'b'. As the spectator puts card back place pile 'a' on pile 'b' to complete the cut.

Now with all the cards together, and the card s selected by the spectator is just below the key card. Now remember the location where both the cards are

After that make few cuts to show the spectator that his chosen card is well and truly lost in the deck, but here you've to make careful cuts. Remembering location in the previous step will help you to cut the deck carefully.

Finally turn the cards over and show and that you are reading mind of the spectator to locate the card. As you see the key card, pick the selected card right away and show it to the spectator.
