How to Dress a Toddler for Snow
Toddlers, just like anybody else, love to play in the snow. From snow fighting to creating a snowman, a snowy weather can turn into heaven on Earth for a lot of people. But for some parents who do not know how to dress up their babies according to the weather, it can turn into a nightmare. Should the babies be covered too much or just enough? What would be adequate covering and will the kids be able to play easily while wearing those thick heaps of clothes? These are some of the many questions that parents ask themselves. – Thermal Underwear or Thin Pajamas (pair)
– Fleece
– Thick Socks
– Bibs or Snow Pants
– Thin Knit Gloves (pair)
– Thick, Waterproof Snow Gloves (pair)
– Snow Jacket
– Snow Boots
– Fleece or Thick Knit Hat

First you need to get a thermal underwear. If it is not available then bring thin pajamas. In case of extremely cold weather, use two layers of thermals or pajamas. This should be followed by a fleece top as well as bottom.

Now cover the child’s feet with a pair of thick socks. If thick socks are not available then take few thin pairs of socks and cover the toddler's feet with them.

After this, cover the fleece bottoms by putting on snow pants. However, try to use bibs overall, as they provide best coverage and shield the little backs tooafter the jacket comes on the top.

After taking care of the main body part, now it is turn of toddler's hands that should be covered with thin knit gloves. Then, cover the knit gloves with thick waterproof snow gloves so the toddler will remain dry while playing in the snow.

Now take a snow jacket and put it on the child. Keep in mind that jacket should always come up after the gloves are on.

Before putting the snow boots on the toddler, pull the legs of the snow pants up then tuck the sweat bottoms along with pajamas inside the shoes. After this, bring the legs of the snow pants to their original place, but keep them outside the boots.

Cover the head of the child with either a fleece or a knit hat and then put the hood of the jacket over it and tie it up around the toddler’s chin.
