The first thing that you need to make sure is that the dress is not made of any heavy cloth. A lot of people prefer wearing bathing clothes, because you won’t mind getting them wet. You might get in real trouble, if the clothes are too heavy.
You will take plenty of time to ride back to your launch point after floating down the river, not to mention the extra exertion which you will face. It is also not a good idea to stay wet right through this period. -

Wear plenty of waterproof sunscreen. Keep a large bottle of the sunscreen in your bag. It is essential, because you will have to face direct sunlight for hours and burns could also take place due to reflection of sun from water. Make sure the sunscreen you are using has a high SPF rating.

3
Wear a nice shirt to avoid sunburns on your chest and neck. Adorn the shirt only after applying sunscreen on your chest, arms and neck. Also apply the sunscreen in a large quantity on your entire face.

After wearing a cool shirt, put a hat on your head. Make sure the cap has a wide brim, so it keeps the sun out of your eyes. An old ball cap or a visor could help your cause. However, you need to ensure that the hat does not create any problem for you in the water.

5
Wear sunglasses to protect your eyes from the harmful sun rays. Make sure your sunglasses have a safety strap, so they donot fall away from your head while you are in the water.

6
Bringing a wetsuit becomes very important, when you plan to go tubing in the cold water.

Don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes to avoid any scratches on your feet.
