Butternut squash is a food item that is a winter special. If we talk about its taste and texture, it is very similar to pumpkin. As it is smaller than a regular squash, so this perfect size makes it more adaptable and acceptable for different dishes.
Ingredients
  • Butternut squash - peeled, seeded, and cut into 1-inch cubes - 1
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Cloves garlic, minced - 2
  • Salt and ground black pepper - To taste
Instructions
  1. First of all rinse the utensils properly to remove dirt and germs.
  2. Now you need to prepare the oven by pre heating it to 400 degrees F. Place a baking sheet and spray with sufficient amount with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Take squash and remove the stem with a sharp-edged knife. Then cut this squash into half. This will make it easy for you to separate seeds and its flesh. In the end, you will cut each half into four pieces of equal size.
  4. Take a bowl and mix these pieces of squash with olive oil and garlic. Place these pieces on the baking sheet after adding salt and pepper.
  5. Roast these pieces for 20-25 minutes or until they change their colours to light brown.
