How to End a Company Letter
While addressing the other party, most of the people don’t give importance to the concluding part of a business letter and lose their grip. In formal correspondence, the end is as important as the beginning because you suggest a plan of action in this part.
Moreover, it is also used to remind the recipient to check the attached documents. You should not underplay the importance of ending part as any mistake can really jeopardise your stakes. Though, the language of this portion depends on the nature of this letter you should be courteous enough to maintain a good working relationship in the future.

Write down a concluding paragraph which will comprise of your closing remarks. Remember, there should not be any information after this paragraph. You may use this portion to summarise your letter or notify the recipient what type of actions you are expecting them to take.

Do not forget to include a thank you note in the ending paragraph. Show some gratitude for the time they will spare to evaluate your case. You should also provide your contact information as they might have to call you to ask something.

Make them realise that you still trust them and show some hope for future correspondence. For example, “I am sure this is just a result of inattention” or “I hope this will not affect our relationship and we will make this bond stronger”.

If you are writing a formal letter then use some direct but polite words to end your letter. You may write “I appreciate your sincere efforts to resolve this issue.” Or “Hoping for an affirmative response”.

If your addressee is a colleague or friend then you will keep it light and less formal. You may say something action-oriented but respectful. You may end your letter with “Please express your views on this issue” followed by your name and signature.

If you are dispatching this business letter to a client then say something more welcoming and open while ending your letter. This will help you to make a productive relationship with your client. Remember, formula sentences give an impression that you don’t know them individually.

Conclude your business letter with some closing statement like “Best Wishes”, “Yours Sincerely”, “Yours truly” etc.
