How to Get an Annoying Person off The Phone
Be aware of the fact that there are two types of annoying people. First type is annoying but is not aware of this trait and the other knows they are annoying but does not care. The second case is definitely the worst but both can give you a massive headache. If you are on the phone with such a person, it is not easy to get rid of them and this can get very irritating. Nevertheless, there are a few things you could try to make them go away or hang up the phone, but make sure you are polite and tactful in your methods.

Find out if the person cares they are annoying
First of all, know if the annoying person is concerned about his/her behaviour. This is vital because you need to take care of people who do not care about their annoying traits differently from people who are not aware of their annoying potential. If you are talking to him/her on the phone, ask if they know that they can get annoying at times. People who are not bothered will just laugh or will continue with the same attitude. On the other hand, if they care they will get sad or unhappy at the question and will be cautious the next time. -
2
Ignore as much as you can
If you ignore the annoying person, he or she might know your reason and stop being that way in the future. Moreover, this is more effective for the kind of person who gets annoying to get a reaction from others, and if you do not give them a reaction then they would not have the temptation of being annoying anymore. Try not picking up his or her calls and discourage annoying behaviour when you are on the phone with him/her. -

Further instructions
If these things do not work, then ask your other friends to intervene and tell the person about the nature of his or her behaviour. If you are on a conference call with a couple of friends then confront the annoying person collectively but make sure not hurt his or her feelings during the process. You can also make yourself unattractive so that they stop calling or talking to you. Furthermore, you can be direct and tell them that you are sick of their annoying behaviour. In addition you can lie and make excuses such as you cannot talk at the moment, you are busy right now, driving or your outgoing is barred. Come up with something that sounds realistic so that you can get an annoying person off the phone.
