Application Form
You can collect application form by making a visit to the Visa section of the Botswana High Commission in London. You will have to visit the High commission between working hours that is 9:00 to 13:00 from Monday to Friday. You can also write an application to the name of the Botswana High Commission in London to get an application form. You will have to send a prepaid, stamped, self-addressed delivery envelope to get your visa application back.

Requirements
There are some simple prerequisites that should be followed to be eligible for the tourist visit visa of the Botswana.
(a) You should have a valid passport with at least six months validity.
(b) You should have a sufficient bank statement to support your application.
(c) You should have a Visa Fee.
(d) You should not be involved in any illegal activity. -

Visa Fee
Visa Fee is a 68 GBP for the visa which will be valid for three months. Visa fee can only be paid in the shape of Money Order made payable to the “High Commission of Botswana in London”.

Check List
After filling up your application form and submission of Visa fee, you need to check your application with the following documents:
(a) Application Form
(b) Valid Passport with at least two blank pages
(c) Photocopy of the main pages of passport
(d) Proof of the visa fee submission
(e) Proof of the bank statement
(f) Return ticket
(g) Proof of Hotel booking
(h) If you want to submit your application by postal service, you should send prepaid, self addressed, stamped return envelope. -

Submission of Application
You can submit your application in person or by postal service. In case of in person, you will visit the visa section of the High Commission between 9:00 to 12:00 from Monday to Friday. If you want to submit by post, you need to attach the prepaid, self addressed, stamped return envelope.

Application Processing Time
Normal time for the processing of the Applications is five working days, however the time may change if you are asked to submit some additional documents, or you choose postal service to submit your application.

Collection of Visa
Visas can be collected from the visa section of the High Commission from Monday to Friday between 13:00 to 15:00. Your visa will be sent back to you if you select postal service for the submission.

Things Allowed to Carry
Botswana does not restrict any household and daily usage articles but you should not take any illegal drug, liquid, weapon or anything that has been declared illegal internationally. You can take cameras, ipods, music players, laptops and other things that you may need in your tour.
