Application Form

Requirements
First of all you need to know that if you have made a plan to visit sham El Shiekh, Dahab, Nuweiba and Taba in Egypt for only two weeks, you do not need to get a visit visa. In this case you will be given a free entry permission stamp when you reach on any of the Egyptian ports. However, if you want to make a tour of any other city of the Egypt, you will have to get a tourist visit visa prior to your entry into Egypt. In this case, following are the requirements that should be completed by each applicant.
(a) Completed application form. This application form should be duly signed by the applicant.
(b) Valid passport of at least six months from the date of issuance of visa.
(c) Two passport sized photographs that should be in light colour background. You also need to write your name in the back of the photographs and attach these on the application form.
(d) A photocopy of the original passport.
You may be asked to send additional documents if required.

Visa Fees

You can submit fee either in person of by using postal service. You are advised to use registered portal service because the consulate of Arab Republic of Egypt does not take responsibility for the loss of any documents. Remember, cash is only acceptable if you are applying in person.

Submission of Application
You can submit your application either in person or using the postal service. To submit your application in person, visit the Consulate of Arab Republic of Egypt in London. You can only lodge your applications from 9:30 to 12:30 from Monday to Friday.

Processing Time
Application processing time is usually one week or 5 working days however there might be change in this time for specific candidates.

Receive Visa
If you submit your application making in person visit, you will need to collect the visa and original documents from the Consulate of Egypt. You can collect your visa only from Monday to Friday between 14:30 to 16:00.
If you submit your application using postal service, you will receive your visa via postal service. You must be present at home during post office delivery hours. Post man will ask you to sign the receipts of your passport avoid any return to the Consulate.
