Requirements
Nationals of Great Britain do not require a short term or tourist visas of Japan. Whereas, visa applications from the non-residents of UK are NOT ACCEPTED. Below are the requirements which other nationals living in the UK have to fulfil.
1. Provide a valid passport.
2. One complete and dully signed visa application form.
3. Provide 1 passport style photo, which should be taken within last 6 months.
4. Provide round-trip or onward-journey flight booking confirmation.
5. Provide employment letter and in case of student give a school or college letter in the UK, which should be issued within last 3 months.
6. Provide fresh bank statement not older than last three months) as a proof of sufficient funds for the trip.
7. Provide your personal itinerary or schedule of the trip.
8. Provide invitation letter in case applicant is staying with a friend or relative in Japan OR confirm hotel booking. If the inviter is not Japanese then, also provide a clear photocopy of their Alien Registration Card from both sides.
