How to Get Lean Arms and Legs

Fat arms and legs obviously do not make you look good, but due to overeating and not paying attention to physical activities, you keep amassing fat around your stomach that further spreads to other body parts.

Reducing fat in your arms and legs may take a lot of workout and tough physical training, but it is your diet plan that will make a real difference. You don’t have to take lessons from professional health instructor or a dietitian, as you can make an exercise routine and a solid diet plan at home.

    Make a diet plan

Unless you make an effective diet plan that really works for your body, you will never get a physique you are after. Getting lean arms and legs can become a distant dream if you are taking regular meals as part of your daily diet schedule.

Maybe you are having a hard time making a list of meal/food in your diet, but you can always consult a professional dietitian who can review your body condition and come up with a plan that is suitable to your body type.

However, as a basic rule, you can make a little diet plan by yourself. Since you need lean legs and arms, you must avoid fat. Make sure the food/meal take in your diet should have little amount of fat, but more amount of protein.  Brown rice, fruits, vegetables, and quinoa can give a lot of carbs, which are necessary for an active lifestyle.

    Go for light iron

Use light weights during your arms and legs workouts, as it will help reduce fat and build up solid, lean muscle. The worst thing you can do is keep increasing weights to your workout plan.

Remember your aim is to get lean legs and arms, so lifting heavy iron will only build up muscle, which can further affect your arms and legs, toning them up and making them grow heavier by the week. Have the gym instructor review your body and give you a proper workout plan.

    Jog regularly

There is nothing better than jogging when it comes to burning fat. Jog on a daily basis. It is advised to jog for about half an hour before you go to the gym as this is when your muscle will respond to weight-lifting (since your body is already warmed up). Running on a treadmill can also help you reduce fat.
